Monroe County Civil War Memorial

This unique memorial will honor Monroe County Residents who gave their all serving our great nation during a time of turmoil. In addition to the more than 350 county residents, special tribute will be given to three of the county’s most notable soldiers; General George Custer, two time Medal of Honor recipient, Lt. Col. Thomas Ward Custer, and Col. Norman Hall.
